Performer, Producer Rock Rockafella Announces Retirement, Candidacy for President

DALLAS — Performer and producer Rock Rockafella has announced he will again step away from adult entertainment and has declared his candidacy for President of the United States in 2024.

Although he no longer plans to perform or produce, he intends to remain involved with the day-to-day operation of his eponymous labels, Rockafellaz Entertainment, founded 13 years ago, and the more recent RocksBoys.com.

He has launched RichardCooper2020.com and a Twitter handle announcing his candidacy for President; he has not apparently declared a political affiliation. Cooper is the name by which he now intends to be known.

“The time has come for me to change the direction that I would like to take my life,” said Cooper. “I am deeply appreciative of all the support received from the fans and followers I have gained over the years.”

A “new face for the brand and CEO” for the production company will be named in due course.

“I have decided to focus my energy on running for office. I’m asking my fans and supporters that have been following my journey — stick by my side on my next journey,” he said.

In 2011, Cooper retired from adult and returned within several years to revive his eponymous label that featured fan-favorite studs Castro Supreme and Tiger Tyson, among others.
